It’s an eclectic grouping of treasures but interesting. I suspect not much visited but if you like museums, it had a pleasantly old fashioned vibe and there were thins of interest to see in it. Small but interesting museum housed in an old mansion. It is rare for such maquettes to have survived. Then, enjoy a mix of guided and free time in beautiful medieval villages such as Gordes, Roussillon, Lourmarin, and Bonnieux, with their centuries of history. It is not large. We were fortunate to visit on a day of free admission. The highlight for me was an original mock up or maquette of proposed paintings for a cupola in St Peter's in Rome. Small museum based on a family that owned the house. The displays of salons for miniature figurines and the ‘window’ scenes with dolls (crèches) were superb. Extremely good English audio guide for 3 euros. The foyer and staircase was of special interest.
