Their customer service is the worst I have ever met. I ordered a Apple HV adaptor on line which arrived as expected. Well, I received it this morning!! This is thieving. not only is the management dishonest, it trained it staff to be like them. I wish I could put a zero grade. Bought a samsung a50 in paris and the sales guy said it would be compatible in the north america - and it isn't! I had to pay the return shipment cost as they promised they will reimburse me. They insisted that I send it in to "repair" rather than return it, even though it is brand new and just opened. I ordered three items: one was damaged (the shipping box was safe, so they sent me a previously damaged item) and one was completely wrong. Almost fraudulent in their lack of professionalism. 20,298 were here. I contacted the vendor and gave instructions on how to solve the problem, which did not work. the worst store you can buy from.
I ordered TV on 25th of october it is still pending although it was written that i would get that in 1-2 days, i couldn't reach them in any way. They don't honour the warranty. I paid the price of a shaver for a useless foil. Absolute nightmare to get through to them. I'd never ordered from Fnac for delivery abroad, but since the product I wanted was out of stock here, I decided to try Fnac. Very frustrated. FNAC has some of the largest stores in France mainly dedicated to electronics, books, CDs etc.
FNCA has a consumer rating of 1.29 stars from 17 reviews indicating that most consumers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. The books are on transit, so they can't give the money back. Fnac.ch is a total disaster and so is their shop in Lausanne. I had the scooter for 3 weeks and I paid $300. I bought the scooter on Oct 18,2019, and brought it into FNAC to fix it no Nov 15th, 2019 because I have a 2-year warranty and because it rained one day when I rode it the battery got water in it and FNAC will not fix it. My friend bought the same item with the same timeline and he received his 6/3, yet FNAC assures me there is no issue in my timing.
The Chinese vendor made no effort to prove delivery, and insisted I go to the post office to obtain a certificate of non-receipt!
After almost 3 months I didn't get the reimbursement of my book and shipment. it's been 5 times i follow their instructions to stop sending me their useless mail... they keep on coming in...l. Do not buy anythings from fnac If u call you have to wait 40 min to speak customer care and after without answer they cut ur call . Customer care is awful! It's really frustrating to wait that long (this item is a very "hot & popular" item that has been selling for hundreds of dollars more than MSRP, so I wasted these 5 days not looking anywhere else because I thought I had finally a confirmation in my order) only to get my order canceled, and even worse, to find out after refreshing the website, and not an email. But without contacting me they issued me a refund (as well as more currency conversion charges) sop now I am without a ticket and several euros have been taken from my account. I knew Fnac online reputation is bad so I went directly to the store in Paris. The most common issues with FNCA are around customer service, which is not as good as expected by some customers. I had a bad experience at Fnac at airport CDG, we bought a small handheld and two earphones one was with Bluetooth the other without I wanted to change it and the guy get rude and unprofessional and did not let us buy anymore, my children were very sad and cried, it was at cdg at 10 45 am at terminal 2e, we said for the guy we will file a claim he said that he does not care. However despite their stated legal obligation to accept returns within 15 day without complaint or need for justification, they accepted the router, did not refund, but gave ma a 'bon' to purchase another router (but they have NO choice of routers. They don't honour your privacy. For books, you cannot find better prices elsewhere in France (except for used books but this is a different kind of business), I bought a book in their site. Its impossible to get any redress from this company. I tried to adjust it to no avail, so I reached out to customer care for help. The site is continually out of date.
